Tea Tree is a small tree with dense, aromatic foliage and papery bark, found only in Australia, occurring naturally in swampy grounds of northern New South Wales and SE Queensland.
Tea Tree Essential Oil has had a long history of use in Australia, with extensive plantations established. The oil has been widely used, largely for its recognised antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Using Tea Tree Essential Oil:
Topically: Dilute in carrier oil at 1-2% (2-4 drops per 10ml) for general topical application.
Facial: Dilute in carrier oil at 0.5-1% (1-2 drops per 10ml).
Massage: 5-10 drops per 100ml carrier/massage oil.
Aromatherapy: Add a few drops to an aromatherapy diffuser or vaporiser or into a warm bath.
Natural Disinfectant: 15-20 drops to a full spray bottle of water.
Safety Guidelines:
When used at the recommended dilution rates (see above), essential oils are generally regarded as safe to use. Avoid direct contact with undiluted essential oils.
It is recommended to seek medical advice before using essential oils if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have serious health issues.
