Lemon-Scented Gum is an attractive, smooth-trunked tall tree endemic to NE Australia. This species has long been popular in ornamental plantings in parklands and gardens, and is valued by beekeepers for honey production.
The high Citronellal content (from which Citronella is derived), has made this species valued for essential oil production, particularly in its use as a natural insect repellent.
We have sourced this premium oil from a multi-generational family company who have established plantations of Lemon-Scented Gum in the NSW Riverina.
