Eremophila mitchellii is a small, shrubby tree native to the arid regions of Australia, across Queensland and New South Wales.
The aromatic wood has often been harvested as a sustainable and more affordable alternative for Sandalwood due to its somewhat similar aroma. When steam distilled over a long period (48+ hours), the fragrant wood yields a unique and valuable, intoxicating essential oil, widely used in the perfume industry.
We source premium Buddha Wood essential oil from a small family-run business who have invested many years of hard work in developing custom extraction methods for this, and other, woody species. Woody material is sustainably harvested from government-managed wild stands across QLD and NSW.

Using Buddha Wood Essential Oil:
Topically: Dilute in carrier oil at 2-4% (4-8 drops per 10ml) for general topical application.
Facial: Dilute in carrier oil at 1-2% (2-4 drops per 10ml).
Massage: 5-10 drops per 100ml carrier/massage oil.
Aromatherapy: Add a few drops to an aromatherapy diffuser or vaporiser or into a warm bath.
Safety Guidelines:
When used at the recommended dilution rates (see above), essential oils are generally regarded as safe to use. Avoid direct contact with undiluted essential oils.
